NRF Grant Money Available for Hurricane Sandy Relief
As we did during 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina, the National Remodeling Foundation is once again answering the call in a time of need. The NRF has established a starter fund to rebuild homes along the East Coast devastated by Hurricane Sandy. We are currently accepting grant applications to assist needy homeowners and worthy organizations with the rebuilding process.
We are also accepting donations of money and building materials to assist in the relief effort. Individuals and organizations are already contributing to the relief fund, including Masonite Doors and MasterShield, which has committed to supplying interior and exterior doors and gutter guard systems (respectively) for the rebuilding effort. We thank each and every one of our supporters and hope that your chapter members will join us in donating to this cause.
As always, 100% of contributions to the NRF will go toward restoring damaged homes and/or community buildings.
Anyone can contribute to the NRF’s Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund by sending checks to the National Remodeling Foundation with “Hurricane Relief” in the memo line. Mail donations to:
